Fans of my all-time favourite show (nerd alert), The Vampire Diaries, may have caught this subtle reference to the TVD episode called “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street”. The episode title is a play on the famous quote “we’ll always have Paris” from the movie Casablanca. It refers to their memories of good times they spent together in the past, although they have been separated now.
Being the nostalgic autumn soul that I am, “Bourbon Street” was a blend that I couldn’t pass up making! It combines classic autumnal aromas (vanilla + pumpkin spice), with a subtle dose of bourbon and dark rum to transport us into the most iconic scene in the TVD - sipping a stiff drink in front of the fireplace in the Salvatore Boarding House.
