The Fine Print
* By ordering from our website you confirm you have read our disclaimer and agree to our terms of use and policies.
What payments methods do you accept?
Paypal or credit card payment is preferred. We also accept Apple Pay.
If you have a Paypal account, you can also make payments from your bank account by attaching a bank account to your Paypal account.
Alternatively, you can contact us to pay for products with an email money transfer. For this method of payment, please email us the list of products you would like, as well as your shipping address. Please note that your email money transfer needs to be sent to us within 48 hours of us sending you the total for your order.
All prices listed here are in Canadian dollars.
Please note that Paypal does all currency conversions. You can place an order no matter what country you're in, or what currency you're paying with.
Do you ship to my country?
We currently ship within Canada (our home country) as well as to the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Norway.
Rewards Program
What is this?
This is our way of showing our appreciation. You’ll earn points for activities on our site, like referrals and purchases. You can use them to earn discounts towards purchases. The more you collect, the more you save.
Who can join?
Anyone with an account is automatically enrolled.
How do I earn points?
You can earn points for all sorts of activities, including referring friends and making purchases. To see all the ways you can earn points, click the 'Beauty Rewards' bar, then click the 'Earn Points' tab in the menu.
How do I view my point balance?
As long as you're signed into your account, your point balance is displayed in the 'Beauty Rewards' bar (which can be seen at the bottom of your screen).
How do I redeem my points?
Click the 'Beauty Reward' bar. If you have enough points, you'll see the rewards you can redeem. Alternatively, after clicking the click the "Beauty Rewards" bar, you can select the tab called 'Redeem Points'. Here you’ll see all the rewards we offer. If you have enough points, you can redeem them for a reward.
Is there a limit to the number of points I can earn?
No. Go ahead and earn as many as you can!
What do the 'approved', 'pending' and 'cancelled' statuses mean?
* **Approved:** These points can be redeemed for rewards immediately
* **Pending:** These points need to be verified before you can redeem them. This typically applies to purchases and referrals
* **Cancelled:** These points will not be added to your account. For example, this will happen if you cancel a purchase (the points will change from pending to cancelled)
What happens if a friend I refer cancels or returns their order?
Your pending points will become cancelled and will be removed from your account.
Why did my account balance go down?
You, or someone you referred, cancelled a purchase.
I completed an activity but didn't earn points!
It can sometimes take a few minutes for us to process your activity and provide your points.
Can I use my points during checkout?
Not directly. Please redeem your points for a voucher which can then be applied during checkout.
How do I leave the program?
If you no longer wish to earn points, please contact us and ask to be unenrolled. We'll unenroll you and you will lose any points you have accrued.
What happens if I leave and decide to join again?
Just contact us and we'll re-enroll you. However, your point total will begin from zero.
I cashed out rewards points for a reward coupon but opted not to use the code on my order. How do return the points to my account?
Firstly, congrats on hitting a rewards level! We’re so happy to have you as part of our community of Radiant Rebels!
Secondly, once points have been cashed out for a coupon code, they cannot be converted back into points to be added back on to your rewards points total. But never fear, the code you receive at cash out does not expire and can be used at your leisure on another order.
Lastly, unused codes can be found at any time by logging into your account at Shopbattysbath.com and clicking on “My Account”. Any unused codes will be found on this page, as well as your current store credit balance (if applicable).
I have multiple reward points codes currently unused. Can I combine the totals so that I can apply the total amount to my order?
If you have unused rewards codes that were created before March 20, 2018, we will honour those codes and combine them for you by request only. In order to do so, you must send us an email to hello@groundedsage.com or message through our Facebook Page. In your email/message, please include the codes you want to combine and the email address attached to your account.
Codes created after March 20, 2018 cannot be combined with other rewards codes, so be sure you are only cashing out rewards when you reach a reward level you’ll want to use right now or in the near future. Want to know more about our Coupon and Reward Points Policy? click here.
I'd like to refer a friend
Awesome! The more friends know about the benefits of natural, effective skincare and pure cosmetics the better!
To refer a friend:
- Log into your account.
- Click the 'Batty's Beauty Rewards' Tab at the bottom of the screen
- Click the 'Earn Points' link and follow the directions for referring a friend
Why refer a friend?
- Your friend scores a 20% discount
- If your friend makes a purchase, you'll score $15 worth of store credit reward points! If that's not a sweet deal we don't know what is hehe. :)
Are returns accepted?
Due to the nature of our products, Grounded Sage Skincare does not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances.
- Should your order arrive, and something is clearly wrong with the product(s), or the product(s) have been damaged in transit, Grounded Sage Skincare, on a case-by-case basis, may offer to resend the product(s) or issue a refund.
- In order to have your products resent or a refund issued, you will be required to provide photos of the damaged products.
Can I request a custom item/order?
Our formulas are designed in a manner to optimize their effectiveness. At this time, we cannot take on requests to add or eliminate any ingredients that are currently a part of any formula, including requests made due to allergies.
We welcome customer feedback on any and all products, but due to the time restraints of producing handmade commodities, we cannot accept custom orders, including requests for “bulk” sized products.
I have allergies/sensitivities. Are your products ok for me?
If you have allergies or sensitivities, please be sure to check the ingredients listed in each product section before purchasing and for more information about ingredients, see our ingredient info page, or contact us - we'd love to help!
As with all bath and beauty products, avoid sensitive areas and test a small area before applying liberally.
Discontinue use if any irritation occurs.
Please note that even though our products smell super yummy, they are for external use only.
NUT ALLERGIES: please note that many of our products include nut ingredients and our studio is NOT a nut free environment.
Are your products gluten free?
If you have a sensitivity or allergy to gluten, it's important to note that none of our products have gone through thorough testing of gluten levels and we don't create in a gluten-free studio.
If an ingredient has been tested by a 3rd party for gluten levels and has been deemed to be gluten-free, we'll include that information on product pages that contain the gluten-free certified ingredient. Please check the ingredient information on individual product pages for this information.
I have a question about expiry dates...
Our moisturizers and a few other products have an expiry date sticker on them. The expiry date is a very conservative estimate to account for any products that might end up in less than ideal conditions (for example, left in a hot car, or in direct sunlight).
If a product has an expiry date of a year and a half or longer we don't put an expiry date sticker on it. Additionally, many of my products, like our soap, don't "expire" but their aromatic properties will fade over time.
Coupon & Reward Points Policy
Only ONE coupon code can be applied to each individual order. Should you attempt to use more than one coupon code on your order, the last coupon code entered will be the one that is applied to your final total. This policy also includes Reward Points redeemed as Store Credit
Please be sure to read all the details of each discount/coupon code before placing your order. Due to the high volume of orders, we can no longer apply discount codes after payment is received. Order changes can be made manually by customers before their order moves on to the fulfillment stage. After that, changes are subject to a $15 administration fee. If you have any questions regarding a promo, please do not hesitate to email us before placing your order.

Why are the prices in my cart difference from the ones I’m seeing on the product pages?
We’re pleased to offer an international currency converter at Shopbattysbath.com. However, we are (proudly) Canadian owned company and as such, our check out is required to be in Canadian dollars. The good news is, your total is automatically converted to your home currency upon purchase and your bank statements will reflect this. The currency converter is simply to give you an idea of what you can expect your total to be once converted by your bank
Is my privacy protected? / Privacy Policy
Batty’s Bath takes your privacy very seriously. Any personal information shared with Batty’s Bath is kept strictly confidential and is only available to Batty (Jamie Sabot) and the Batty’s Bath Virtual Assistants. Batty’s Bath will never trade or share any of your personal information.
Should you use Paypal as your method of payment, we do not receive access to your credit card numbers, bank accounts and information the like. Your personal information is kept secure by Paypal. Similarly, should you ever choose to use our Square reader at a Batty’s Bath event, Square is the confidential holder of your personal information, and we will not have access to it.

Are any of your ingredients micronized? / Do your ingredients include nanoparticles?
You can be rest assured that none of the ingredients we use is micronized. None of our ingredients includes nanoparticles.
Is the titanium dioxide used in your products coated?
Many manufacturers use titanium dioxide that is coated with silicone, which may clog your pores. It may also be coated with aluminum hydroxide. Rest assured that the titanium dioxide used in Batty's Bath products is NOT coated with silicone or aluminum hydroxide. The titanium dioxide we use is free of toxic coatings and is safe for acne prone skin.
Tell me more about jojoba wax beads.
Are they microbeads?
First off, nope - no microbeads here! We only use biodegradable, plant-based wax (that's in the shape of beads! How brilliant is that?!). You'll never find those nasty, environmentally destructive plastic beads in our products.

Charitable Donations
We are currently involved with a number of local charities that are close to Jamie’s heart. If you'd like Grounded Sage Skincare to be involved in your fundraising efforts, feel free to reach out to us, but please also know most of our resources have already been allocated to the local charities we currently support. Products for Review / Freebies
If you are a professional Product Reviewer (ie. Blogger, YouTuber, etc.) and are wanting to make a request for free products to try, please be advised that only a limited number of requests will be considered for review. We're so excited that you're interested enough in our products to want to review them, however, are a very small company and typical allocate all our "freebies" to charities we support. Having said that, it never hurts to ask!
Changes to Orders
Customers are able to manually edit or cancel their order themselves before their order has moved on to the fulfillment and/or shipping stage. To do so, go to your account page to edit, cancel or reorder.
If your order has already moved on to the fulfillment stage, you can request a change or cancellation via email, however, there will be a $15 administration charge. Note that we can't cancel orders that have already been shipped. Please email your change request and we will send you a separate Paypal invoice for the administration charge to be paid before your change(s) will be processed. Please allow at least 3 days to process your invoice and order change. This may delay the shipment of your order accordingly.
Cancellation Fees
Customers are able to manually edit or cancel their order themselves before their order has moved on to the fulfillment and/or shipping stage. To do so, go to your account page to edit, cancel or reorder.
If your order has already moved on to the fulfillment stage, you can request a change or cancellation via email however, a cancellation fee will apply.
- For orders under $100 before applicable taxes, the cancellation fee will be $5
- For orders over $100 before applicable taxes, the cancellation fee will be $10
Note that we can't cancel orders that have already been shipped.
Email Consultations & ‘Free’ Advice Policy
Jamie has spent many years developing her knowledge on skin care to ensure her products are of top quality and effectiveness. However, she is not a medical professional, and all information provided by Jamie and her Virtual Assistants should only be taken as an opinion. You should always consult with your health care provider before making any major changes to your health and diet.
Grounded Sage Skincare provides numerous resources in which you can use to help build and tailor your skincare to your needs. Should you have a question that is not covered by any of the available resources, please feel free to send an email to hello@groundedsage.com.
Please note, that while we'll provide you with all the answers you need to continue your skin care journey in a positive direction, Jamie cannot provide ‘free’ full consultations via email. If your question requires a detailed answer that isn't currently available in our resource database, Jamie may choose to answer your question in a blog post, podcast, or another resource that she makes public for all Grounded Sage customers. There is no guarantee that your email will be featured, but if it is, you will be sent a personal note to let you know, and we'll keep your identity anonymous.
