Green Tea & Pineapple Cleanser is for acne-prone, combination skin that needs a deep purifying cleanse without any harsh, skin-stripping ingredients that leave the skin feeling tight.

This daily cream cleanser gently lifts impurities from the surface of the skin and uses pineapple fruit enzymes to purge pores of daily buildup without stripping the skin’s natural moisture barrier.

Infused with skin-soothing chamomile and green tea, antibacterial lavender, and brightening antioxidant-rich pineapple.

How to use: Wet your face with water. Avoid hot water, as this will dry out your skin. Opt for lukewarm water instead. Massage the cleanser around your face in circular motions. The optimal time to cleanse your face is roughly 1 minute. Rise off with water and pat dry with a clean facial towel.

• Chamomile Extract: This floral extract is used in natural skin care products to help ease irritation from skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, acne and dry, rosacea, and flaky skin. Similar, yet less concentrated than an essential oil, they are easily absorbed by the skin to deliver ingredients deep into the skin where it’s needed most.
  
  
• Green Tea Extract: This extract is packed with antioxidants (which stop free radicals in their tracks) and helps reduce inflammation - including inflammation caused by rosacea and acne. Green tea, because of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities, can also slow down some signs of aging.
  
  
• Lavender Oil: The lavender plant is known for its antibacterial properties, making it beneficial in acne-fighting skin care products. It helps rid the skin of bacteria preventing breakouts, and is a member of the mint family. Lavender extract is not as potent as the essential oil of the Lavender plant and is used more so for its aromatic ability to reduce stress, while Lavender Essential Oil will contain more acne-fighting benefits. The Essential Oils used in Grounded Sage products are therapeutic grade, 100% vegan, and free of synthetic compounds.
  
  
• Pineapple Extract: We can't get enough of this fruit extract! Pineapples are chalked full of Vitamin C. This vitamin contains impressive amounts of antioxidants and is known to aid in the brightening of skin (i.e. helping reduce the signs of aging) and protecting it from free radicals. Vitamin C is also a natural alternative to drugstore toners, by helping reduce dark spots and other sun damage.  Pineapple extract also provides a non-abrasive exfoliation that is particularly beneficial for those who suffer from congestion thanks to fruit enzymes. These fruit enzymes have the ability to exfoliate inside the pores, where we also shed dead skin cells that can cause plugs, blackheads, and breakouts.
